Balsam Music Lessons

In July 2009 Balsam Music Lessons took residence at the Balsam Centre in Wincanton, Somerset having previously traded as Dorset and Somerset Guitar Lessons.

Mike Taylor teaches guitar, drums and bass guitar. In 2008 he graduated from the Brighton Institute of Modern Music with a BA Hons in Professional Musicianship (2:1).

His previous experience includes gigging, session playing and music workshops for adults and children ranging from preschool to secondary school age. He has also contributed articles to local press and written guitar syllabus for a national teaching resource.

A keen player of blues, funk and rock and acoustic finger style he also loves music technology and can help out if you ever need to pick out a new guitar, amp, drum kit or effects pedals.
